This edition is two books in one. The first part, intended for those whose first language is English, presents Japanese idioms with their meanings translated into literal and idiomatic English. All entries and sample sentences are written in phonetic spelling (Romaji), then in Japanese characters, and finally in English. The second part is for those whose first language is Japanese.
